Fire Pumps and AEDs
The Lake Panache Campers Association Inc. maintains fire pumps in locations around Lake Panache for use in emergencies and in November 2020, installed the first of three automated external defibrillators (AEDs). The AEDs were purchased with funds raised by the Dodd Family through a GoFundMe campaign in memory of Tim Dodd.
AEDs are portable, life-saving devices designed to treat people experiencing sudden cardiac arrest, a medical condition in which the heart stops beating suddenly and unexpectedly.
The AEDs are currently stationed in three locations around the lake and available for year-round use:
-
Lake Panache Marina Fire Pump Shack
-
In the garage at the Hayes Camp at 1545 Reserve Camp Road
-
On the boat house at the MacIsaac Camp at 2003 North Shore Road
The AEDs are identified with a green bubble on the map below. Fire pumps are identified with a red pin.
AED signs are prominently posted at each location. Click the green bubble for photos.

Thank you to the Dodd for spreadheading this initiative to the Hayes and MacIssac families for hosting the AEDs.
